Prayers for your loved ones

News Around the Archdiocese

As we look forward to the World Day for the Poor this coming November 14, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul invites you in the coming weeks to consider your own good fortune and how your good fortune allows you to assist persons in need. With a donation of money, household goods, your time and talents, you can help us make a difference in the community.

Archbishop Smith explains what that will look like in the Edmonton Archdiocese and introduces us to Eugenia Kowalczyk, the local project coordinator.

Thanks to everyone for the Prayers!

Corrine and Lawrence Bacque would like to thank everyone for their prayers for Lawrence’s recovery. They would also want people to know that he has completely recovered from his surgery, and is doing much better.

Pray for seminarians

A new academic year has started at the St. Joseph Seminary with 30 seminarians from 10 dioceses. Twenty-six are living at the seminary, while five others on internship are experiencing a year of parish life.

Each individual needs our prayerful support on their journey of discernment. We ask that you pray for each seminarian on a specific day and for an increase in vocations.
